  • How can V & W Supply design centers assist in my project?
    Our consultants will provide you with friendly knowledgeable customer service so that you have the information you need to make educated decisions. We offer guidance in the selection of the plumbing fixtures that meet your needs and budget, and will work with you to make sure that you are happy with your selections.

    Are appointments required?
    Appointments are not required at our design centers, but are suggested. While not required, appointments are a great option if you would like to meet with the consultant of your choice at a time which is convenient to your schedule. Feel free to make a preliminary visit to look around to get ideas and pick up brochures before your selection appointment time.

    Does V & W offer design services?
    Our consultants offer guidance in styles, colors, and finishes, but we do not offer professional design services. If your project requires structural changes, we will be happy to provide you with names of local architects or interior designers who are more knowledgeable in that area of expertise.

    Does V & W stock all the products that are on display?
    We do have extensive inventory of many of the products that are displayed. Because of the wide variety of products that are available, we are unable to stock everything that is displayed. Special order products normally have a 1-4 week lead-time from the vendors. Your consultant will provide you an estimated timeline for the arrival for the fixtures selected for your project.

    How is V & W Supply different from home improvement stores or the Internet?
    Our associates are professionals in the plumbing industry, and receive continued training in the newest products as they become available. Our design centers handle only quality product lines that meet our strict requirements. Unlike home improvement stores and the Internet, our service continues after your project is completed in the event that a warranty issue arises.

    What do I need to do to place my order?
    Before you confirm your order as final, we recommend that you make a return visit to go over your selections to be sure that you are happy with your choices. Once you are satisfied that there will not be further changes, we will need your written or emailed confirmation that your order is final. Some products have extended lead times so a timely finalization and confirmation of your order will be required. If your plumber is providing the fixtures, we will contact him to discuss scheduling the delivery of the products that were selected. If special order products are on the order, we will order those items from the vendors. All sales require a minimum 50% deposit before material will be ordered with the balance due on the first shipment of the order. 100% payment is required for all sales less than $1,000.00.

    What if I need to make a change to my order after I have confirmed?
    Depending on the vendor of the product, there may be a restocking charge for special order fixtures if the change is after 24 hours of our receiving your confirmation. Some products, such as whirlpools or air tubs with alterations, faucets with special finishes, or fixtures in special colors may not be cancelled after 24 hours of placing your order, and are not returnable. Before confirming your order, communicate with your contractor or plumber to be sure that the products chosen are the correct size and function needed for your project.

    What is the return policy?
    Returns of products that we stock in our warehouse are allowed within 30 days from the date of purchase. Special order items are subject to the return policies of the manufacturer . Manufacturers may charge restocking plus the freight to return the product to their facility. All returns must be in complete sell-able condition, and in the original undamaged packaging. Items that have been installed will not be accepted for return unless it is deemed to have a manufacturing defect. Returns will be refunded to the original method of payment. Refunds, less restocking and return freight, for special order products will be refunded after V & W receives credit from the vendor.

    What is the warranty policy?
    Manufacturers warranty covers the manufacturer's defects for a specific length of time but will not cover the labor charge to change out the part or fixture. Warranted parts will be sent by ground freight or by mail without charge from the manufacturer. In most cases, parts can be expedited with the homeowner paying the freight charge. If you have need of warranty service, please call us with the model number of the product , your order number, and the part that is needed. We will be happy to contact the vendor and order the part for you. If the warranty period is over, we will provide the cost of the replacement part so that you may order the needed item.

    Does V & W offer installation services?
    We do not have installers but we will be happy to supply you with contractor or plumber referrals. We recommend that you use a licensed and experienced contractor and plumber for the installation of your fixtures.

    Will V & W deliver my order to my job site?
    We have a fleet of delivery trucks available for our customer's convenience. For deliveries outside the local area of the design center where the purchase was made, we will need at least a 24-hour notice to schedule the delivery. For deliveries that are more than 30 miles outside the local area there may be a small delivery charge.
